I sometimes add a little sugar or honey to the warm cereal too.

----
cooking in schools'recipe #2:
Apricot Yogurt Cereal

* 1x WeetaBix
* As much Dried Apricot as you want
* 100g cornflakes
* 200g any flavour yogurt as long as it is pot set

Break the weetbix up; add the corn flakes mix around; add the yoghurt.

Chop the dried apricots into small cubes about a 1/2 a centimetre big. However, a Chicago culinary arts school pledge a varied selection of cooking techniques ranging from simple home cooked selections to Parisian method of cooking and baking.

Any aspiring chef will be able to locate a culinary school in most popular cities in Chicago. Chicago is home to the Art Institute and also the prestigious Culinary Institute Alain & Marie LeNôtre while the Texas Culinary Academy is located in Austin.

Any Chicago culinary arts school offers courses which can range from simple syllabus like producing a niche chilli dish or can be as complicated as a diploma program similar to those followed by the Chicago culinary arts school or the renowned Culinary Institute Alain & Marie LeNôtre.

The Chicago culinary arts school offers the Cordou Bleu (blue ribbon) course, which is linked to its award winning parent school's program in Paris, also of the same name. However, in Texas, culinary students are taught both typical French and latest American cooking skills.

The Culinary Institute Alain & Marie LeNôtre, cloned from French cooking schools, is highly acclaimed for churning graduating chefs for the eating institutions earlier than their competitors. It fast tracks its course to fifteen months compared to two years in normal circumstances.

A lot of Chicago culinary arts schools focus on a small number of students to a teacher ratio to ensure students benefit from the one-to-one relationship to pick up cooking techniques. However, a prestigious institute also includes management skill in their course. This is very relevant in current kitchens.

The Culinary Institute Alain & Marie LeNôtre is a highly respectable Texan culinary learning centre. It is ranked within the top 50 most prestigious culinary schools in America. It is reported that the school received some returning graduates to do apprenticeship.

A standard Chicago culinary arts school will include the Tex-Mex cuisine in their syllabus. It is a cooking term referred to American and Mexican fusion food; made famous by Diana Kennedy in 1972. The course will include the fundamental spicy chili con carne and the all-time favourite Mexican tacos and delicious fajitas. Hence, be it the wild wild west grilled beans or a delicate French soufflé that you intent to learn, the suitable Texas culinary institution is eagerly awaiting for you to enroll to make your cooking career a reality.

Nachos Recipe (SPECIAL LOW CALORIE)

Chicago culinary arts school version:

Tortilla chips - extra thick - 1 14-oz bag

Refried beans - 2-3 cups

Cheddar Cheese - 1/2 lb, grated, about 3 cups

Pickled jalappeno peppers- 4 peppers, sliced

salsa

guacamole

Sour cream

Cilantro, chopped

Method

1 Preheat the oven to 350°F. Arrange a layer of tortilla chips along the bottom of a wide, shallow baking pan. It will make things easier if this baking pan also can be used as a serving pan, such as the ceramic platter shown in the photo above. The layer of tortilla chips can be a couple chips thick. Spread the refried beans over the chips (this is why you need extra thick chips, so they don't break when encountering the beans). Sprinkle the grated cheese over the top of chips and beans. Sprinkle slices of jalapeño peppers over the cheese. Bake in oven for 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted. 5 minutes in a convection oven.

2 Serve with dollops of salsa, sour cream and guacamole, with chopped cilantro sprinkled on top.

Serves 8. These culinary Schools in Chicago do not aim to further a liberal arts education instead offer to teach job-specific skills.

Vocational education being offered in the past usually focused on specific trades such as becoming an automobile mechanic or welder. Such training and education were then associated with the activities of lower social classes. As a consequence of this, vocational schools attracted a level of stigma. More and more economies begin to demand more specialized skills from the workforce.

Governments and businesses are now beginning to invest in the vocational education through publicly funded training organizations and subsidized apprenticeship or traineeship initiatives to provide for their need for more people with specialized skills. And also because of this, post-secondary level vocational education is now being provided by an institute of technology, or by a local community college.

Vocational education has diversified over the years and now exists to provide training in industries such as retail, tourism, information technology, funeral services and cosmetics, as well as in the traditional crafts and cottage industries. People now have a wide selection of vocational training to choose from to personally equip them with skills for their chosen jobs.

If you are looking for Chicago vocational schools, you will be able to find a number of them online. Without it, they will not be found in those schools. There are students who take culinary arts programs and other related courses not just to become a chef or cook. Others plan in putting up their own business or simply to enhance their skills and know more ideas about different cooking approaches. Whatever their reasons may be, choosing and going to reputable schools offering the best quality education will better serve their purpose.

What about career growth; you don’t expect to be forever chef, do you? You can have a higher position, or even the highest if you take up certain appropriate programs. Taking only culinary arts will leave you to discovering and preparing different new approaches to cooking. But if you take culinary arts and restaurant management, who knows, you can be the restaurant manager in less than 2 years time. Setting your goals higher combined with hard work will definitely take you to a higher position.

Just look at things this way, restaurant operations do not depend only on cooks and chefs. There should be someone managing the business. And who would run a restaurant better than those with full knowledge of culinary arts and restaurant management? This makes the program beneficial to people with ambitions to be managers or supervisors. How does that sound to you? Considering other programs to take in culinary schools for greater things?

One of New York Culinary Schools that offer culinary arts and restaurant management is the famous New York Culinary School, which is The Art Institute of New York City. The school’s program balances culinary theory and practice. Students taking on this innovative program learn cooking, baking, communication, and management skill. All the things you are to study and gain knowledge from will help you walk your way up through the ladder of career growth. However this Culinary School California’s top graduate knows exactly how to make him eat his delicious meal. Here is one of his great recipes:

Culinary School California’s most famous recipe:
GRILLED TROUT with PEPPER RELISH
Jacko’s chef version of ingredients:
1 lime
2 tbsps butter, melted
4 filleted trout, unskinned (double fillets preferred)
8 tbsps prepared hot pepper relish
Lime wedges or coriander leaves to garnish

Culinary School California’s method of cooking:
1. Remove the rind of the lime with a citrus zester and set it aside
2. Squeeze the juice and mix with the butter.
3. Place the fish fillets on a grill rack and baste with the butter and lime juice mixture. Place under a pre-heated grill for about 4-5 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets. Baste frequently.
4. Pour over any remaining butter and lime juice and sprinkle the fish with the lime zest.
5. Gently re-heat the relish and spoon 2 tbsps down the center of each of the double fillets. Garnish with lime or coriander.

This King of Pop’s private chef also added that to ensure the delicacy of his special recipe above, make sure that you choose the freshest trout available in the (super)market. If you can not find any trout, make sure that the fist you choose is the tender kind of fish. What about salmon? Salmon will do too.

Other tips:
Make sure that you cook it in the lowest heat possible to ensure the fish to absorb all the spices perfectly. If you want to cook it with oven, it will be just nice, too. You can cook it with an oven only for 10 to 15 minutes.

Happy cooking from Culinary School California’s top chef!

Other recipes:
Special California culinary schools’ menus

Culinary Schools Houston

Culinary Schools Houston

If you have ever tried the famous Japanese Green Rice and wondering who invented it, you might not know that it was invented in Culinary Schools Houston.
